The company was started back in 1956 and has been growing ever since then. Back in the beginning it was just Jean Sr. and his partner Harry Mayes. They hired on Joe and Bob to assist with the ever increasing work load. Today we are proud to say that Joe and Bob have just celebrated their 30th anniversary with us. As we celebrate our 50th year in business, we would like to thank both our crew and customers for helping us reach this momentous occasion. Our crew is comprised of men and women who on average have been with us for 10 years. It is this type of devotion and caring that we look for in an employee. Today the Chambon Electric family has grown to 15 such like minded people. Because of these dedicated workers our customers can safely feel that their projects and emergencies will be taken care of as if they too were a part of the family.

IT IS WITH GREAT SORROW THAT WE MOURN THE LOSS OF ONE OF OUR DEAREST FRIENDS AND LONG TERM EMPLOYEE. JOE MURROW PASSED AWAY ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2011. JOE WAS WITH THE COMPANY FOR OVER 35 YEARS AND ONE OF OUR MOST RESPECTED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE TECHNICIANS.

HE WILL GREATLY BE MISSED.

At Chambon Electric we take safety seriously. All of our employees are given company and facility specific training in safe working procedures. We hold monthly meetings to insure our employees are trained and prepared for all safety related issues. We pride ourselves on safe housekeeping practices. We feel that a protected and collected worksite is both a safe and productive worksite.

We are NJ licensed #2030, bonded and Insured. Our company is prequalified by the State of NJ to bid on public projects. We have NICET level II certification.

Our Main office is in Chatham, New Jersey and our state certified Master Electricians and technicians cover a great deal of territory throughout the state. Officially Chambon is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, but we are well aware that emergencies do not always happen conveniently during those hours. That is why we are always available for emergency work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our response time is next to none!
